Who we are

This website is operated by Studio Saina Ltd. We are committed to protecting your personal information and being transparent about how we use it. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and your rights.

If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at hello@siluxlondon.com.

What data we collect

We collect the following personal data:

  • Contact form submissions: name, email address, and message content, when you contact us via the website. We also attach how that visit reached us: the domain of the site that referred you, the first page you saw, the page you wrote from, and any campaign tag in the link you followed. That is the same information described below, kept with your enquiry so we can tell which of our own pages brings people to write to us. It is held in memory for that visit only, never stored on your device, and it is not used to recognise you on a later visit.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, and pages visited, collected automatically by our hosting provider for security and performance.

We do not use tracking cookies or advertising pixels, we do not track you across other websites, and we do not build a profile of you.

We do measure how the site is used, in two ways. Our hosting provider, Vercel, reports aggregate traffic. We also record our own measurements: the page address you visited, the domain of the site that referred you (never the full referring address), the country your connection appears to be in (country only, never a city or a location), whether you are using a phone, tablet or computer, your browser and operating system, roughly how long the page was visible and how far down it you scrolled. If you arrive from a link we published ourselves and it carries a campaign tag, we record that tag, so we can tell which of our own posts brought you here. Query strings and anything after a # are removed before anything is recorded, so details carried in a link cannot reach us. Visits in a single day are grouped under a one-way hash that changes every midnight, which means we can count returning visits within a day and cannot recognise you the next day or work backwards to who you are. Nothing is stored on your device by this.

If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, we make no measurement request at all.

How we use your data

We use contact form submissions only to respond to your enquiry. We do not:

  • add you to a mailing list without your explicit consent,
  • share your data with third parties for marketing purposes, or
  • sell your personal information.

Data retention

Contact form emails are retained in our email inbox for as long as reasonably necessary to complete your enquiry, and then deleted. We do not store form submissions in a database.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you,
  • request correction of inaccurate data,
  • request deletion of your data (the ‘right to be forgotten’),
  • object to or restrict processing of your data, and
  • lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@siluxlondon.com.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
