The Story
The band is the perch. The tuti sits at the crown with wings folded in smooth unbroken volumes, a flush diamond line along the wing seam and an emerald cabochon eye. There is no cage anywhere on the piece. There never was one. In the Masnavi, a merchant's parrot learns from a wild bird how to be free: die to the cage, and the door was never locked. A companion who reminds you the door is open. Girih star undergallery beneath the crown. Every piece is made to order. Metal, stones and scale can be adapted in conversation with the studio, to your budget.
