An engagement ring for a pear diamond
Two strands of 18ct yellow gold cross along the band and meet at carved shoulders, each holding a small diamond inside a fine beaded edge. The strands are satin and the carving is polished, so the two finishes sit side by side.
Hallmarked at the Birmingham Assay Office.
Shown before its centre stone was set, so the claws still stand open. The stone was set afterwards.
