The Story
The lion strode across the silver plates of the Sassanian court as the king's equal and his quarry. On these cufflinks he strides again, in soft deep relief on a solid satin ground, framed by one unbroken ring of flush diamonds. The ground is solid because a cufflink needs its back; the bar fitting is polished and plain. The first piece in the house made for a man's wrist.
