The Story

Half the band carries a line of diamonds, set flush and close. Follow it round and the line begins to change: the diamonds loosen into the pierced points of girih stars, until the last stone has dissolved fully into lattice. The remaining half is left as plain polished gold, a stretch of quiet night, and because it stays plain the ring can always be resized. Shab means night. Behind every stone, a star-shaped opening is cut through the band, so even the setting is a small constellation. The centre stones are chosen with you: natural or laboratory-grown, sized to your budget. Made to order.
