Each pendant is a free-form rectangle with organic, irregular edges - as though broken from something ancient - carrying a scene in high sculptural relief that emerges directly from the gold surface.

The Story
The Story Canvas is a new direction for Silux London: a wearable bas-relief sculpture cast in 24 carat pure yellow gold. Each pendant is a free-form rectangle with organic, irregular edges - as though broken from something ancient - carrying a scene in high sculptural relief that emerges directly from the gold surface. This piece depicts two figures in Persian robes meeting beneath a cypress tree, birds in flight above them. The raised forms are mirror-polished; the recessed ground carries a raw, matte texture. Every centimetre of the surface is worked by hand. The investment case
24 carat gold is pure gold - 999.9 parts per thousand. Unlike 18ct or 9ct pieces, there is no alloy diluting the metal. The pendant holds intrinsic value that moves with the gold market, whilst the artisanal craftsmanship and limited availability mean it appreciates beyond spot price over time.
