The Story
The Tokhm-e-Morgh studs take their name from the decorated egg that sits on the Haft Seen table at Nowruz, the Persian New Year. The egg is among the oldest symbols we carry: renewal, the return of warmth, the quiet promise of what is about to begin. At Nowruz, families paint and adorn eggs to mark the turning of the year, much as Easter traditions do in other cultures. I wanted to hold that quiet, round form in gold. Not decorated, not embellished. Just the egg itself, as honest and simple as the symbol deserves. Each stud is hand-modelled in solid 18ct yellow gold, finished to a high mirror polish. The rounded form sits close to the ear, understated and warm. Post fitting with butterfly back, Birmingham hallmarked. One size. Lead time 4-6 weeks, made to order. Bespoke adjustments available. Contact us to discuss.
