Panah (پناه) means shelter. The whole line rests on one decision: the stone sits down into the gold rather than up on top of it. A wider band, roughly 5mm, with a flat outer face and softly polished chamfered edges, so it reads as solid rather than decorated. One diamond is star set into the centre of the face: bedded below the surface with eight fine rays cut around it, visible only when it catches the light. The rest is plain satin gold. It is the same idea as the rest of Panah, which is that the stone is sheltered by the metal rather than raised above it. 18ct yellow gold, satin faces with softly polished edges.
