The Story
The drops catch the moment the story turns: the moth descending toward the flame. Each earring hangs a small moth in profile from a fine 18ct yellow gold trace chain, falling from a plain domed stud top, wings lifted mid-flight. The wings keep the collection's grammar at falling scale: continuous mirror-polished volumes, a flat ribbon of pave-set diamonds inlaid flush into the visible wing, a satin-brushed body, and a richly coloured ruby cabochon flush-set at the thorax. Because the moth hangs free, it moves as you move, turning through the light the way its namesake circles the candle. Of the four Parvaneh pieces this is the most alive, and the one I would choose for evening. Made to order in 18ct yellow gold.
