The Story

Abarkuh (ابرکوه) is the old cypress of Abarkuh, said to be four thousand years old: a love that stands. The ring is one trunk at the back of the finger that parts into two slender boughs at each shoulder. The boughs rise and taper around a pear cut stone carried point up, towards the fingertip, and the stone is held low by fine claws, with daylight showing between the boughs. Their outer faces are satin with a fine, irregular bark texture, and the inner edges are polished. Tiny diamonds, each in its own star shaped seat, climb the boughs like dew. 18ct yellow gold. The ring is drawn around a pear of about 9 x 6 mm, and the setting is fitted to the stone you choose, from 8 to 10 mm long. The fitted band is the sapling: a smooth, slim band with a single star set diamond flush with its surface. The price shown is for the setting in 18ct yellow gold alone: the centre stone is chosen with you from a range of stones, shown here in champagne diamond and parti sapphire, and priced with it. Every ring is made to order, and nothing is held in stock.
