The Story

Risheh (ریشه) means root, and in Persian it also means origin: what a family grows from. The shank of this ring is that growth. It is a bolder band, wider at the shoulders and tapering towards the back, sculpted with flowing roots in low relief. The roots converge to hold a cushion cut stone in a slim, low, smooth bezel, with daylight showing between them. 18ct yellow gold, polished. The ring is drawn around a cushion of about 8 x 6 mm, and the setting is fitted to the stone you choose. The fitted band is a matching root band with slits of daylight and no stone, and a groom’s band of about 6 mm in the same roots is shown alone. The price shown is for the setting in 18ct yellow gold alone: the centre stone is chosen with you from a range of stones, shown here as a salt and pepper rose cut diamond hexagon, its rim following the stone, and a green sapphire, and priced with it. Every ring is made to order, and nothing is held in stock.
