The Story

Pichak (پیچک) is the twining vine: two stems that wind round each other until they grow as one. The band is those two smooth stems, twisting together along the back of the finger and parting at the top to hold a step cut stone, set east to west across the finger, in a slim polished bezel. Where the stems part under the stone, the opening they leave is a pointed Persian arch, an eyvan, clear in profile. A short line of small diamonds is set flush in a flat slot along one stem, and the other stem stays plain. 18ct yellow gold, polished. The ring is drawn around a step cut of about 8 x 5.5 mm, and the setting is fitted to the stone you choose. The fitted band is a single vine stem that twists once, with a flush line of small diamonds. The price shown is for the setting in 18ct yellow gold alone: the centre stone is chosen with you from a range of stones, shown here in pink sapphire and colourless diamond, and priced with it. Every ring is made to order, and nothing is held in stock.
