Golestan Anar Seed Ring
From £950
Final price confirmed at commission.
I designed the Golestan Anar Seed Ring to be the simplest possible statement of a very old idea. A single pomegranate, انار (anar), rendered whole on the hand: one fruit, one seed of paradise, the meaning carried without needing a single stone to make its case.

The Story
I designed the Golestan Anar Seed Ring to be the simplest possible statement of a very old idea. A single pomegranate, انار (anar), rendered whole on the hand: one fruit, one seed of paradise, the meaning carried without needing a single stone to make its case. The fruit sits proud of the band in demi-relief, a half-dome sculpted in full to the front and hollowed beneath so it sits flush and light on the finger. The body is brought to a mirror polish, while the fruit's small crown is left matte and hand-brushed, a deliberate tension between raw and refined. Turn the ring over and the hollow is not left plain: I have opened it into a Persian girih lattice gallery, the geometric strapwork of Isfahan's architecture, carved where only the wearer will ever see it. It is a hidden signature, not an economy. The shank is channelled for comfort, so the ring reads as sculpture from above and sits like nothing at all underneath. This is an everyday piece, and a first Silux London piece for many people: a gift for someone who notices detail, or a quiet reward you choose for yourself.
