The pomegranate blossom (گلنار - Golnar) comes before the fruit. The Story

The pomegranate blossom (گلنار - Golnar) comes before the fruit. In Persia, where the pomegranate (انار) appears in paradise gardens, on sofreh aghd wedding spreads, and throughout miniature painting as the symbol of fertile abundance, the blossom is the moment of pure promise - before the harvest, before the children, before the life built together.

This ring is that moment.

I created this five-petalled blossom in 18ct rose gold to hold a cornflower blue round sapphire at its centre - the blue of Persian turquoise tiles, of garden pools reflecting a clear sky, of the beloved described in a thousand ghazals. Each petal is three-dimensional, cupped and graduated, set with diamonds that follow the petal from base to tip. The ring is not flat. It has the presence of a real flower, cut in gold.

The split shanks branch from the blossom like woody stems - arched, tapering, set with graduating diamonds that follow the curve toward the finger. At the base where the branches meet, a small pomegranate leaf is engraved in gold.

Golnar (گلنار) is the engagement ring for those who understand that Persian beauty is never merely decorative: it is always symbolic, always rooted, always pointing toward something greater.
