I designed the Sama Whirl Studs as the quietest word in the collection: no stones, no chain, just the turn itself, caught in solid 18ct yellow gold. Sama is named for the Sufi whirling ceremony, the turn that traces back to Rumi's lineage, reduced here to almost nothing but the spin. At 11mm, the whirl is compressed to a tight ribbon caught mid-spin, the same continuous ribbon of gold as the pendant and earrings but drawn in on itself until head and skirt read as one closed turn. Mirror polish carries almost the whole surface; a small brushed sweep marks where the skirt would flare, giving the eye one place to land before it follows the polish back round. The construction stays open and hollowed at the back, so even at this scale the stud sits close and light against the lobe. They are built for daily wear, quiet enough for a work day, still visible enough to hold their own without a pendant or a second layer.
