Golestan Gol-e Peyvand Ring

From £2,200

Final price confirmed at commission.

The Chahar Bagh (چهارباغ) paradise garden has defined Persian ideals of love and eternal beauty for three thousand years. I drew on this living tradition to design the Golestan Gol-e Peyvand Ring: a bridal engagement ring whose form mirrors the symmetry of the four-part Persian garden, with a central diamond as the fountain at its heart.

The Story

The Chahar Bagh (چهارباغ) paradise garden has defined Persian ideals of love and eternal beauty for three thousand years. I drew on this living tradition to design the Golestan Gol-e Peyvand Ring: a bridal engagement ring whose form mirrors the symmetry of the four-part Persian garden, with a central diamond as the fountain at its heart. The ring is set in 18ct yellow gold. Four gracefully arched shoulders rise to meet a central four-claw setting, each shoulder engraved with a flowing rose-petal motif (گل, gol) in low relief, echoing the floral borders of Safavid miniature paintings. A round brilliant-cut natural diamond of approximately 0.75ct (E-F colour, VS clarity, GIA certified) sits at the centre. The band is subtly tapered and comfortable for everyday wear, hallmarked at the Birmingham Assay Office. In Persian poetry, the rose represents divine love; the garden is paradise itself. I designed this ring so that every glance carries a fragment of that ancient tradition, worn not as ornamentation but as a promise. Commission your Golestan Gol-e Peyvand Ring to begin the conversation. Materials: 18ct yellow gold (UK hallmarked)
